What does “CHANGED” actually mean?
“CHANGED” is not an acronym. It simply declares the truth of our lives: We are CHANGED. The name grew out of our first book and public testimony in 2018, when we gathered to highlight the uncommon journeys of men and women who confronted the question, “Can you leave LGBTQ behind?” and discovered lasting transformation through Jesus. As Revelation 12:11 says, we overcome “by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of our testimony.” We are living proof that surrendering to Christ reshapes identity, desires, and destiny.
Now, we have many new people who have joined the movement who are in the journey of surrendering their life to Jesus and being healed. While there are various levels of desires or affections changing, our goal is not to be “straight” - but to become whole in Christ. For many of us, one side-effect of that has been our attractions changing to opposite sex desires.
