I could have come out and said, ‘I’m going to live a homosexual lifestyle,’ but I didn’t want it.

We read books that helped us gain perspective on our sexuality. Today, I feel more peace within myself than I ever have in my whole life.

I needed a counselor, someone who could help me unravel the deep emotions.

I encountered the living Jesus as the only one who could save me from myself.

No one there was trying to coerce me into changing my behavior, but they helped me pursue a healthy heart and lifestyle. 

I was introduced to a sexual wholeness program that emphasized finding your true identity. There was no manipulation or shame, just unconditional love.

I heard about a program that helps individuals overcome unwanted same-sex attraction. It offered me freedom

and clarity. 

The resources I sought gave me a vision and hope that real change was possible.

My life today is 100 times better than it was then. After deciding I wanted to come out of the homosexual lifestyle, I met Garry, who is now my husband. We have been married 11 years and we have two children.

Culture told me I was born with same-sex attraction and that I couldn't change. But I'm now approaching 33 years of a very changed and more fulfilling life.

I pursued growth in my christian faith, and it began to change me and the way I viewed life.
